Kobez Governance and Handoff

Status model

Every asset-catalog.csv row carries four independent signals:

  • decisioncandidate, shortlisted, not-selected, or unreviewed.
  • readiness — currently blocked for all groups.
  • rights — currently unknown for all groups.
  • blockers — the explicit external conditions that prevent use or release.

A visual preference never changes readiness or rights. Parchment is shortlisted only as a provisional warm-ivory direction; the owner may replace that choice.

Thirteen catalog groups

The gallery shows twelve groups and excludes the archive record from its card layout:

  • WEB-BG-PARCHMENT
  • WEB-BG-LINEN
  • WEB-BG-TERRAZZO
  • WEB-BG-MIDNIGHT
  • BRAND-ANFAHRT-CARDS
  • BRAND-CONTACT-LOCKUPS
  • PRINT-CARD-FAMILY
  • PRINT-PDF-PROOFS
  • PRINT-QR
  • MAP-CONCEPTS
  • PROCESS-BOARDS
  • PREV-FULLFRAME-BG
  • ARCHIVE-MASTER-HANDOFF

Snapshot-scoped authority

  • The modular background system is the website candidate.
  • PrintPack is the print review and proof source.
  • The master handoff is an archive record.
  • The backgrounds handoff is a previous full-frame showcase.

These roles apply only to this received snapshot. They do not establish approval or release authority.

External release gates

No asset can be recorded as released until all applicable gates are evidenced:

  • named owner approval
  • rights and license clearance
  • independent QR decoding and device scans
  • editable print sources and licensed embedded fonts
  • vendor color/PDF-X requirements and physical printer proof
  • a named target application for website assets

The generated maps are decorative concepts only. The Karlstorbahnhof label is hallucinated and must never be used for navigation.

Provenance

The evidence layer is kolbez-organized/source-as-received/_records/:

  • source-inventory.jsonl records every archive member across all six archive layers.
  • materialization.jsonl records extracted, omitted metadata, and deliberately unexpanded duplicate payloads.
  • hashes.jsonl and duplicates-aliases.jsonl reconcile bytes and aliases.
  • run-receipt.json records the source and organizer invocation.
  • tree-digest.txt proves deterministic organized output.

Recording a future release

Close each applicable blocker with evidence, then append one entry to decisions-and-rights/release-register.yml with:

- asset: group-or-file identifier
  version: immutable version identifier
  scope: website-or-print scope
approver: named owner or delegated authority
  date: ISO-8601 approval date
  gates_passed:
    - explicit gate identifier

Do not move files into status-named folders. The immutable version and release register carry the release decision.
